3. The Humble King

In Daniel 4 Nebuchadnezzar has another dream, this time of a great tree that gets chopped down. His kingdom was supposed to provide food and safety and blessing for his people but instead the king made it about his own glory and comforts. And so God humbled Nebuchadnezzar in a very public way. Jesus, on the other hand, was the true king, becoming our example of 1) a humble mindset, 2) a service lifestyle and 3) a heavenly reward.
