11. Walk in the Spirit

The Gospel immediately confronts our feeble attempts at self-salvation, whether through our own good works or our religious endeavors. Romans 8:3-4 makes it clear that it is impossible for us to save ourselves. Our sinful nature and our sinful choices have crippled us, leaving us utterly helpless to escape the power and penalty of sin. But God! Come be inspired this week by what “God has done” that we could never do! Come celebrate the finished work of Jesus and come grow in what it means for you to live a new life in the power of the Spirit.
