6. The Return of Christ

The war and wrath and tribulation of Revelation 8-18 suddenly stop in chapter 19 when King Jesus appears. This is our blessed hope – that Jesus is coming soon, and when He does it will be to bring about 1) total victory; 2) perfect justice and; 3) eternal union with us. This is the end of world history, the final defeat of God’s enemies and the wedding feast of the Lamb! Let’s rejoice in our Glorious King!
