It’s hard to get past Genesis 6 without tripping over the Nephilim.
” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.” Genesis 6:4
The only other place in Scripture the Nephilim are mentioned by that name is in the report from the spies who searched out the promised land.
“And there we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak, who come from the Nephilim), and we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them.” Numbers 13:33
Who are these “mighty men”? How could they appear in the promised land since they must have been wiped out in the flood? Could the “giant genes” have been embedded in Ham / Canaan, the son of Noah?
