Thankful – two messages to remind us to be thankful for God’s mercy (Psalm 51) and grace (Psalm 103) in our lives.
1. Thankful for Mercy – Psalm 51 – November 18, 2018
Psalm 51 is King David’s cry for mercy from God after his greatest failure – adultery, murder and betrayal of a close friend. In this desperate prayer we see four steps to a grateful life: 1) cry out for mercy; 2) realize the consequences for your sin; 3) confess your sin and; 4) receive cleansing in Christ.

2. Thankful for Grace – November 25, 2018
Psalm 103 teaches us to praise God for who He is and thank Him for all He has done for us. King David presents three punishments we deserve that have been mercifully removed in Christ and four undeserved gifts God has graciously given us in Christ. The more we understand the mercy and grace of God in Christ the more thankful we should be!
