2. Obey

As those who trust fully in God because we know His character in Christ, our calling is to obey Jesus and walk in His ways. Jesus says that His followers will do the works He did (and greater works!) and that we will obey His commands. In this passage the Lord gives us four promises to empower our obedience: 1) answered prayer; 2) the Helper’s presence; 3) eternal life and; 4) loving union. Come be encouraged by these promises to walk out your faith in bold obedience, doing the works Jesus did in the power He provides!
