7. Gospel Partnership

As we conclude our series on Stewardship we turn to the end of the book of Philippians where Paul thanks this generous church family for their support of his ministry. He talks about their “partnership in the gospel” (1:5; 4:15) and how they shared in his troubles (4:14). This is true Biblical fellowship (koinonia): partnering with gospel workers to support them and their ministries. We will see four ways to grow in our giving: 1) kindle concern; 2) trust totally in the Lord; 3) proactively partner in ministry and; 4) invest for eternity. Come be encouraged to join God in His work of bringing the love and grace of Jesus to the ends of the earth!
