40. Opposition as Opportunity

Luke patterned the narrative of Acts deliberately after his gospel account. The way the Jews opposed, persecuted and arrested Paul feels very reminiscent of the way they treated Jesus. As we study the trials of Paul, we should prepare ourselves to respond as he did and as Jesus did: 1) expect opposition; 2) accept suffering to help you grow and 3) seek opportunities to testify. How can you reflect the patient endurance of Jesus in the midst of the challenges in your life?
