37. Encourage One Another

Encouragement is not just saying some nice things to someone – it involves calling them “up” to another level, inviting them to follow you as you follow Jesus. This is what we see Paul doing in Acts 20 – calling several people to literally come with him on mission and encouraging others in their task as they stay behind. Biblical encouragement involves 1) spending time together; 2) speaking truth in love and 3) sharing in trials with those who are hurting. Come be encouraged to be an encourager!
