30. Invest in a Few

The way Jesus changed the world was not by attracting a crowd but by investing in a few ordinary men the masses would follow. The apostle Paul followed this strategy by always working with a missionary team. In Acts 16 Paul meets Timothy and brings him along on his mission. By studying Paul’s investment in Timothy we see four key practices to multiply disciplemakers: 1) Look for F.A.T. people; 2) Bring them with you as you serve; 3) Give them opportunities to serve and grow and; 4) Encourage and cheer for them as they lead.
